Hi, I'm Danica.

I taught in BC School District #22 from 2015-2017, and continued tutoring through to the end 2022. Tutoring was always a supplementary joy, but now, since September 2026, I'm tackling it head-on as a full-time venture.

I'm passionate about connecting with all learners, especially those who are neurodivergent or struggle to connect with the classic "teach to the test" classroom. I meet students where they're at, find the gaps, and scaffold them up to confidence in a topic before we move on. I also work with students to understand their math anxiety, where it comes from, and strategies to succeed.

I work with all ages, from numeracy skills for the little ones through to calculus for the seniors. I'm online with families anywhere globally, and in person around the Central and South Okanagan, and portions of the Shuswap. Some families book me once when a test is coming. Some book me on a recurring schedule. Both are completely fine.
